We have a number of tasks to attempt during 3 days on the farm.

The main one for our first visit will be to make a contribution to the creation of a maze (hedges and paths, 1 way in, 1 way out) in what was the field with play equipment. A contractor will have marked out the layout and laid path material over terram. Our task is to mark the hedge line with intermediate stakes and a single strand of smooth wire. They have some Hornbeam whips to plant (if we’ve had any rain yet). Bring your hammer and hard hat for post driving. We have the plan.

Auger and 1 chainsaw on site please.

Other tasks, for later, are
== assembling 2 cow scratching posts from bought kit of parts.
== Install many round information boards (to be confirmed)
== build a small landing stage at the island on the main pond
just to keep your imagination alive.
