Construction work at Manor Farm

This event finished on 24 April 2024


Two weeks of construction work at Manor Farm.

Will involve work on each pigsty shelter to add another section of roofing approximately 2mx3m, working above head height. This to provide better rain shelter for the horses and donkeys that overnight here.

Also building a whole new elevated structure for the goats. If you’re happy to please bring a drill or impact driver with PZ bits and/or 8mm hex head bit for timberlock screws.

Geoff to provide design drawings and encouragement.

For week 2 :-

# complete the roof extensions.

## build a platform 4mx1.2m between trees at chest height in the bigger enclosure, with a ramp to the ground in the direction of the lower garden area.

### construct a smaller platform 1.2mx1.2m at shoulder height adjacent to a tree in the smaller enclosure with a bridge link to the new platform.
