Earlier today I was able to see the results of Wednesday’s work session.
As always the amount achieved was ‘impressive.’ You’ve given us the chance now of getting to grips with the bracken problem. We’ve recently purchased a brush cutter (battery powered) which will help later this year to build on what you have done for us. I realise bracken control is a long term project!
Coupled with that the pathways look so much better, improving the visitor experience. I know it is just cosmetic, against the wider goal of biodiversity, but bluebells are showing now by the pathways where none have been seen for quite some years.
I’m very grateful to you, Bernie and the rest of the team for all you did. It would take our small group a month of Sundays to achieve a fraction of what you did yesterday.
Many many thanks,
