Over three sessions, we will be laying a new path of scalpings, topped with Romsey Red,
A distance of just under 90 metres.
If ground conditions are ok we will be able to park on the grass, and the gate will be opened at 9.30.
Do not get there early as parking is very difficult. The entrance area is Disabled Parking only.
Here are two sets of directions which hopefully will help.
Option 1
Imagine turning right out of the country park.
Head over the M27, straight on through first mini roundabout to the bigger one at A27.
Turn left (1st exit) Applegreen Petrol Station is on your right and in just 0.2 of a mile Turn Left into Barnsland and immediately left again into The Drive
Option 2
Imagine heading east along A27 Mansbridge Road with White Swan Pub and River Itchen on left.
Up Gaters Hill past Haskins Garden Centre on right
At Allington Lane roundabout go straight across – Applegreen Petrol Station is on your right.
Then in just 0.2 of a mile Turn Left into Barnsland and immediately left again into The Drive
This next bit is common to both options
At the grassy mini roundabout, either, continue straight on into the cul-de-sac and park prettily on the left somewhere, or, swing right and entrance gate will be on your left
