Details from Julia as follow
these are the priority jobs identified by Jonny for the 1st April:
Adela Copse: W3W – ///damp.pose.headsets
Check and restock planting.
Strim rose type plant at entrance.
Strim bramble.
Maintain boundary to mingledown circular path i.e. don’t clear through to path.
Expand clearing to North, South and West.
Plant newly cleared ground with mixed broadleaf ~2m spacing.
Remove fallen beech branches and create rough dead hedge.
Raise canopy on beech overhanging circular path near fallen branches.
Clear overhanging branches / brambles from circular permissive path (outside clearing).
Mingledown: W3W – ///outlines.bubble.racetrack
Remove sleeper steps and smooth bank/ramp.
Knickerknocker field: W3W – ///tolerable.comical.apron
Brush-cut bramble clump in field corner (just down slope from bottom of hedge).
Clear leaning/overhanging branches from fence line. Pole saw will help but much can be done with hand saws from the ground.
Ensure fence sheep-proof (minor repairs, mostly good).
Vehicle and pedestrian access will be from Home Farm drive (///confining.directly.notices) so car parking will be along the road or in the dead end car park. Bob will be able to take a couple of people in the car, and the Kubota and trailer will be available for transporting the equipment. Bob or myself will be directing the work as Jonny is away.
I’m happy to assist with the safety briefing and cake is on order.
Best wishes,
Julia
