Install post and rail fencing. first 2 of 3 weeks requested here. 4×3″ posts to be driven in and wooden rails to be nailed or screwed on. (As of April 20th the wood is bought but no site preparation done yet.)

Construction. The earth auger, metal spikes and post drivers will be the main construction tools.

Destruction. Depending on the extent of preparation by rangers lump hammers, loppers, hedge trimmers and brush cutter may be needed to clear the old fence from the work line. Mostly dismantling work planned for week 1.

The work location is on the south side of Primate Road opposite the Southern end of Kite’s Croft as we have worked it in the past. Parking is awkward, on the grass verge on the North side of Primate Road by the gate and under the high voltage power lines. This is round the corner from the Kite’s Croft industrial park and about half a mile South of the Dunelm store.  See the aerial annotated image.

We should probably park initially in the Dunelm back yard then consolidate 4 per car then drive half a mile to the work site to make best use of the limited parking space
