We helped create their outdoor classroom here 5 years ago. Recently an old post and rail fence has been broken down. Our task is to replace it. Also has a layer of welded wire mesh to be removed and refitted. There will be 15 4″ posts to be dug in at 1.5m intervals. Please bring your fencing tools. Geoff to lead the task.

No need for chainsaw. Rails will be fixed with timber lock screws so we’ll  want drill/drivers for screwing. Earth auger needed too. Posts to be set with postcrete.

Martin Jewell and the Monday volunteers have completed the removal work on 30th March.

School holidays so no kids to worry about. Park in school through the blue gates near a zebra crossing.
