Work on stiffening up a wobbly perimeter fence for the HCS Central Sites team. Task leader Geoff. 250m of stock-and-barb fence along Shawford Road has got to the stage where the wire is holding the posts up. Mike Hardy’s local volunteers have cleared away the scrub from most of the line leaving us to drive new posts and refit the old wire. Auger required but no chainsaws.

We will start from the bottom gate near the station. We’ll need up to 6 people togged-up with face visors for the post driving required.

All comers will be working on site in small groups to observe HCC covid rules. Assuming the whole country isn’t in lockdown.
