Task confirmation. The group will divide into 2 teams today.

Team ‘north’ will replace a kissing gate at the north end of the canal path, at the carpark.

After the initial meeting and briefing by Rod at the carpark, team ‘south’ will walk with subaltern Geoff down the canal track to the second work site where the task is to renew a field gate and replace random needy fence posts around the field. Bring your chair and refreshments south with you. (Turned out to be 1.4km each way!)

Susan to deliver all materials to their place of need on the morning.

On our recent visit we rebuilt 190m of fence and the new gate was well hung.
