What we do

The Wednesday Conservation Volunteers are a roving  group of volunteers in South Hampshire who undertake practical conservation tasks to enhance and create valuable countryside habitats and improve public access to them.

We assist land managers to meet their responsibilities for conservation. We work for a wide range of organisations, most of them public bodies, including Hampshire Countryside Service, National Trust and various local Councils.  Always happy to consider countryside conservation work at new locations.

See mini galleries of our work types .

What we achieve

Learn new rural skills, build confidence with the camaraderie of friends. Enjoy working outside in the best of Hampshire’s countryside knowing we’re making an active contribution to nature conservation, environment management and other related activities with public benefit.

Please note that our membership is at full capacity. Refer to the contact page.
