Install stock fence and barbed wire fencing for HCS Southern Sites.  JohnR will lead the task.

The location of this task has been clarified and these notes updated.

Along the South side of Workman’s Lane there is a tree-lined bank and ditch. On the field side of this bank is a fence line (130m) which we will remove and reinstate starting in the North corner near the houses that look out over the field. We will then install a second fence line a few meters inside the first.

Please bring your own fencing tool kit if you have one, earth auger, farm Jack and strainer clamp. Hard hats are a must. JohnR may bring cakes too.

Best parking location is in the field at the work location. Enter the field via the gate on the East Side of Cowes Lane and drive up the field in front of the houses.    Alternatively park on the road near the junction of Hook Park Road,  Cowes Lane and Workman’s Lane.

Inner and outer fence lines cross the ditch to make a 400m continuous strip. Workman’s Lane, Hook.
