Events at: Itchen Valley Country Park

There are copious brown signs to Itchen Valley Country Park all around the eastern outskirts of Southampton.

 

Some of us will make our way to the A27 between West End and Swaythling. The south end of Allington Lane starts at the roundabout by the applegreen petrol station. From here head north over the motorway and turn left at the country park sign.

For others of us the north end of Allington Lane starts in Fair Oak near the New Clock Inn. Head south and if you cross the motorway you’ve overshot the turning.

For days of woodland clearing please proceed to the far-end carpark on the right.

 

.

 

For the August fencing task park in the first carpark on the right, before you get to the Woodland Cafe. The work location is behind the cafe and a pleasant ramble across the water meadows.

Normally a parking charge is levied in the carpark based on number plate recognition . We will be issued with visitor passes to enable free exit at the end of the day.
